Via EdgeIR.comEdge computing solutions provider Scale Computing announced the acquisition of Adaptiv Networks, a leading provider of cloud-native SD-WAN and SASE solutions, to enhance its SC//AcuVigil managed network solutions. 

This acquisition bolsters the edge computing and network convergence strategy behind Scale Computing, by delivering its integrated SD-WAN connectivity, advanced network optimization and centralized orchestration.

Adaptiv Networks solutions simplify WAN management, enhancing performance, security and reliability for enterprises that want to leverage their expensive legacy infrastructure but have limited IT resources, as well as distributed enterprises.

The merged customer base is more than 9,000 customers, serving in sectors including QSR, retail and restaurants across the globe.

It will market the SD-WAN solutions under the SC//Connect brand, augmenting Scale Computing’s current portfolio.

Scale Computing products include AcuVigil managed network solutions, Fleet Manager edge orchestration, Platform edge solutions and Reliant Platform as a Service.

The deal broadens Scale Computing’s reach in the Canadian market while expanding its portfolio around secure, scalable and resilient networking.
