Via EdgeIR.comCisco and Sharon AI, jointly with NVIDIA, opened Australia’s first Cisco Secure AI Factory for secure, high-performance AI infrastructure where all processing happens locally.

The factory runs on 1024 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs complemented by Cisco UCS servers, Nexus Hyperfabric technology and VAST Data storage systems deployed in NEXTDC’s Australian data centers.

This initiative aligns with Australia’s National AI Plan, encouraging local and responsible AI development while facilitating faster enterprise adoption of AI across the Asia-Pacific region.

The factory provides customized AI services for different sectors and features a sandbox environment for proof of concept testing.
