Via EdgeIR.comNVIDIA and CoreWeave have extended their partnership to make progress towards AI factories, with a goal of creating more than 5 gigawatts of AI infrastructure by 2030.
NVIDIA has invested $2 billion into CoreWeave, showing faith in its AI-centric cloud platform and roadmap.
CoreWeave is also integrating NVIDIA’s newest CPU, storage platforms and computing architectures, which include Rubin, Vera CPUs and BlueField systems.
“AI is entering its next frontier and driving the largest infrastructure buildout in human history,” says Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “CoreWeave’s deep AI factory expertise, platform software, and unmatched execution velocity are recognized across the industry. Together, we’re racing to meet extraordinary demand for NVIDIA AI factories, the foundation of the AI industrial revolution.”
The alliance aims to harmonize infrastructure and software solutions for AI, like open-source frameworks and libraries designed for training deep neural networks.
CoreWeave AI-native software such as SUNK and Mission Control is also being tested for further integration with NVIDIA reference architectures.
The partnership will expedite land, power and infrastructure procurement for AI factory development. This relationship underscores the rapidly growing need for AI infrastructure as AI goes mainstream worldwide.
